Aren’t you sick of this weather that can not decide whether it wants to be freezing or nice out? I am not complaining about how beautiful it has been lately, because I get another chance to wear my cute summer dresses. Also, dresses make a perfect outfit for when you are going out with your friends or to a party of some sort. This brings me to show you guys one of my most favorite looks!I’m sure you have been to the stores and saw a crazy printed dress, or dresses that have feather print, or paint splatter, or anything resembling that it is from the seventies, am I correct? Well you are going to want to pick out one of those dresses, but for this look I am using the feather print dress. Now, these next few items of clothing can be optional depending on the weather: a jacket, and tights. For the jacket, I would go with a leather jacket that matches the colors in the dress. Black jackets do not always work for everything ladies! Same thing goes for the tights, pick a color that is in the dress, match it with a pair of tights and you’re good. (Like I said, these can be optional, but it is super cute!) Now, for shoes, I chose a bootie. These bootie’s can be confused for a heel, but since there is a covering over your whole foot, it is considered a bootie. For accessories, I stuck with the feather theme and chose a pair of earrings that match the dress and the tights. Try this look out for a get together with your friends, I’m sure you will have all eyes on you!

You really sound knowledgeable on fashion so I feel assured taking fashion advice from you. I love summer dresses and I wish I could wear them year round! I like your idea of wearing tights and a leather jacket. I have a leather jacket in my closet and I am always looking for occasions to wear it. I like how you keep the feather theme throughout the outfit. I love the new trend of feathers! I plan on taking on your fashion advice the next time I go out and put together a similar outfit.
ReplyDeleteI am totally going shopping soon and trying an outfit like this! It is definitely a little out of my element, but I need to try something new. I feel like all I where is jeans anymore since this weather is cold in the morning, but warm when class is over. I have a few dresses in my closet that I loved wearing in the summer, but I never thought about adding tights or a jacket so I can wear it now. I also love leather jackets, but I should look into finding one in a different color.
ReplyDeleteI really like this outfit! I always want to try something new but never think I can pull it off. But I think I will try this look sometime! I can never figure out what to wear anymore because of this weather, it is always changing its mind! I think I will have to try an outfit on like this so I will not be cold in the morning or warm in the afternoon. I am in love with the feather print; I think it is so cute! ReplyDeleteI am definitely tired of the weather. It needs to decide what it’s going to do so that we can figure out what clothes to bring out and keep out. I really like this look because it looks like you can wear it for many different occasions. I love how the jacket is made. Where can I get it from? And I also like the shoes I am really into boots with heals or as we call the booties. The patterns on the stockings are nice as well. I could see myself buying this whole outfit and wearing it out one night I go out in Chicago. Can wait to see your other fashion picks.
ReplyDeleteI love your fashion advice as well! I was shopping Friday and literally just had this issue. I wanted this one-shoulder flower print dress but had no idea how to put it together as an outfit! I wish I had read this sooner now, but that's okay because it gives me another reason to go shopping! And yes, this weather is driving me crazy as well. One day the kids are wearing coats to school and the next its short sleeves. I had just put their summer clothes away and had to drag them out again. But you are right, gives us another chance to wear cute summer clothes.
